Scarlino is a medieval hilltop village looking over the Gulf of Follonica. Further down, on the coast, is Puntone di Scarlino, the small village where our apartment is: the beach is 700 metres away, about ten minutes on foot. Life here is simple, slow and pleasant.

About 700 metres, a ten-minute walk. Puntone beach is sandy and the water stays shallow for a good stretch, so it works well with small children.

Is there a pool in the residence?

Yes, a shared condominium pool used by the other residents too. It is the common pool of the complex rather than a resort pool. The sea itself is a ten-minute walk away.

Is the apartment suitable for families with children?

Yes. It sleeps four, the kitchen is fully equipped and linen is included. Puntone beach, ten minutes on foot, has shallow water. Ask for a cot or high chair when you book if you need one.
